Hallie's Birthday

Happy Birthday Hallie girl! It was a fun day had by all I think. At school she was the "helper" and got to wear a Birthday crown and hold a birthday bear.
And her class sung their special birthday song. She also brought her favorite treat to share,
Granny B's sugar cookies.

Playing games at her friend party after school. Button Button

"I have a little doggie and he won't bite you..."

A birthday girl tackle

Hallie really wanted a Safari party so I rigged up a little Safari at the park with posters of animals hung all
around. Jake was their Safari guide.

Instead of a cake I made a giant sugar cookie. Happy Birthday sweetie! We love you!

Poor Neglected Blog and News...

The poor blog, aka: my journal, has been so neglected the last little while along with a long list of other things. You see we're pregnant!! And couldn't be more thrilled! Especially the little mommies of the house, because I am positive that's what they will be to this little one. Hallie's already worried about how I will do with two kids by myself while she is at school.
I have been quite sick this time around, more so than with both of the girls. Boy vibes perhaps? We shall see. Those boys, you know. :) It's so crazy how such a little person can cause such a ruckus in your body. Things are good though. I'm 12 weeks and hoping to be feeling better soon.
On another note, tomorrow Hallie is turning 6. So crazy. We've been trying to get things ready for her B-day party. She really wanted to have a Safari party. Here's our homemade paper bag pinata.

On another-nother note, this morning we were watching the Price Is Right. There was a lady on it that had really pink hair. Sadie asked me why her hair was pink. I told her I didn't know. Hallie said, "I like it. You oughta do that Mom."
Hmm pink, now there's an idea. Probably not, but I am thinking of putting some blonde back in. :)

Dance class

Hallie's been taking a dance class through the city. It only lasted 6 weeks, but it was fun for her and Sadie was able to join in too.

Sadie's New Doo

My friend Shandie cut Sadie's hair a few weeks ago. It fits her spunky little personality!

Welcome Cafe Rio Day

It's true. Cafe Rio now has it's own day.
 Check it out here
It totally deserves it.
I have great love for the Rio.
It's carried me through two pregnancies.
So yummy.
Go out and get some Rio tonight, I think I will :)

Happy Easter

Today was a great day. Can't believe I didn't even take one picture today. Well actually I can believe it because I'm forgetful like that. These are pictures from a few weeks ago

The girls were excited to see their surprises from the Easter Bunny...Sidewalk chalk,
bouncy balls, Hannah Montana the movie and a heap of candy.
I didn't limit their intake of candy for awhile, but it was getting a little out of hand.
It was great to watch and listen to General Conference. The girls were actually really good at coloring, and playing together and I actually was able to hear a lot of the talks, except for the times I dozed off. oops.
Such amazing men and women.
I definately felt inspired to be better and do better. To be a better wife and mother, to do the things that matter most.
We also had a delicious dinner at Mom and Dad's and of course the annual Easter egg hunt. Hallie made out with the most money coming in at $13.50. She was thrilled of course and plans on using it for the ice cream truck. It was great to be together.
Most of all it was a great day to think of the Savior, my Savior.
His life, His Atoning sacrifice, and His Ressurection.
How I love Him and know that He lives!
I'm so thankful for His love. I feel it all around me.
In the beautiful world that surrounds me, the turning over from winter to spring,
the smiling faces of Hallie and Sadie,
and
in kind and loving friends and family.
Happy Easter!
