A little of this and a little of that. That's what.
Playing Barbies with this girl
Time for Barbie to go to school.
Big messes in the basement
Trying to prepare my lesson for Young Womens on Sunday.
Naptime under the rug
And a whole lot of this. Yuck! I don't mind washing the clothes, it's just that folding part. I havn't folded the clothes for over a week!

Since I'm trying to make my blog more of a journal for me, I need to write some of the things that they girls have said lately before I forget...
The other day we were at lunch at Wendy's and I don't remember what Jake said to Sadie, but she replied, "Dad, are you kidding me?"
Now she says it all the time. She also loves to call me a "silly goosie".
She's been going to Early Intervention this year. My good friend works there and invited Sadie to be a "peer tutor" (funny). She loves going and having something to talk about and look forward to. A couple weeks ago they were learning about the letter "B" and the buh buh buh sound. So now she'll say words and put the buh buh buh sound with it. Like she'll say, "buh buh Halllie", "buh buh Mommy". It's really cute.
Hallie is loving school as well and is reading so well. I'm so amazed at how fast she has caught on to reading. It's really cool to see her make out the words.
Last night, when I was putting her to bed, she said, "Do you know what my favorite thing to do is Mom? To be with you. Sometimes when I'm at school I miss you."
My heart melted.
I love how kids say exactly what they feel and there's no holding back. Their hearts are pure and filled with so much love that is unconditional. I learn so much from them and feel so blessed to be able to be their mother. There really is no other joy that can compare. Yes, it is hard work and exhausting day in and day out, but it so worth it.
