Sunday Picnic

Today after church we packed up a lunch and headed up the mountain for a picnic. We went to a spot that my family would go quite often growing up. It's not too far from Cedar Breaks and the view is amazing.
We ate our lunch and then went "exploring" with the girls. Hallie kept saying, "This is the bestest day ever!" It made me realize that kids really do delight in the simple things of life and how important is is to do things like that together as a family and to make good memories for them.

There was even still some snow, so we had a snowball fight!

Sidenote: I have an ultrasound on Tuesday... looking forward to finding out what we are having and hoping for a healthy, growing baby!

Lazy Saturday morning

Yesterday I felt so lazy. Jake was gone at Scout camp so it was just the girls and I. It might have been due to the fact that I was pretty tired from lack of sleep. My belly isn't that big yet but it's big enough that I can't sleep on my belly anymore, my favorite postition. Anyway I couldn't get comfortable so I ended up downstairs on the love sac after awhile of tossing and turning. It actally was pretty comfy.
So yesterday morning I pretty much let the girls do whatever they wanted.

Sadie really wanted to set up the pool outside, but since we don't have grass yet she settled for the bathtub.

Hallie was busy playing babies and wanted to give her baby a bath.
They played polly pockets while I dozed off for a bit, watched t.v., ate cereal in my bed. Finally at about noon I got in the shower and realized that my house was a disaster and tidied up a bit.

I lost my first tooth!

Hallie's had a loose tooth for a couple months now. She was really hoping to loose it before school let out so she could show her class. It seems that it the "cool thing" to be in on when you're in kindergarten. She kept telling me that everyone in her class has lost a tooth but her! Well it finally was loose enough to just pull out.

This is our cute little neighbor, Bailee that Hallie and Sadie love to have over.

T-ball days

T-ball is pretty action packed you know :) It was really fun spectating. Those kids are so cute.

It was a good night...

This is the sign of a good nights sleep around here
Holy smokes, that is the reason we go through so much detangler at our house!

Hallie's Kindergarten Graduation

Well, it was a month ago but better late than never right? Hallie had her Kindergarten graduation a couple of days before school ended. She had such a great year in kindergarten. She had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Topham. She was pretty sad about it being over. It was neat to watch her learn throughout the year. She learned so much and is a great reader. We're trying to keep it up this summer, amongst lots of playing too. I do believe she is ready for first grade!

The proud parents.
I took some other pictures of the actual program, but they turned out terrible. :( I think it might be time for a new camera.
