5 Months old
Another month gone by with this little man. I know I say this all the time, but I can't believe how fast he is growing up. It's sad and fun at the same time.
Things going on for Mckay at 5 months:
-rolling over, front to back and back to front
-eating cereal, his favorite is whole wheat cereal
-watches your every move when you're eating something yummy
-belly laughs when you kiss under his neck
-moans when falling asleep
-babbles and squeals like crazy
-loves his crib mobile
-still gets up 2 times a night
-loves to be sung to, especially "You are my Sunshine", "I am a Child of God"
I love this little guy so much. He has such a big happy soul in that little body
Easter

Sadie loves to cross her eyes when I'm trying to get a good picture
We had a good Easter filled with Easter egg hunts, coloring eggs, being together with family and eating lots of chocolate. We went up to Stockton to be with family for a few days. Jake's sweet Grandma passed away after a short battle with cancer. She is known as "Grandma Willie" and will be missed. I'm grateful that I was able to get to know her in the 9 years Jake and I have been married. She was such a kind, loving, giving woman who knew how to have fun. I love that we have pieces of her scattered throughout our house to remind us of her; the nightgowns that she made for the girls, the dish towels she embroidered for me, the hot pads she knitted, the blanket hanging over the glider in Mckay's room that she quilted, the beanie hats that she knitted. I'm so glad we have these to remind us of her.
I'm also thankful for the reason to celebrate Easter and for my Savior and the blessing of the Atonement and the knowledge that we have that we will live again.
