Fire pit

We got our fire pit in over the weekend and had a cookout. It was so fun. The kids loved it.

Sadie's hair

About a week ago, the girls were in the tub. I pulled the drain up and was helping Hallie dry off and get dressed. Sadie was still in the tub. All of the sudden I hear, "Help!" I went into the bathroom and Sadie's hair had been sucked down the drain. Her poor little head was pretty much flush with the bathtub. She was freaking out (with good reason) and I was trying not to freak out. I tried to pull her hair out of the drain, but it was so stuck I couldn't get it. So I had to cut it. It was a pretty good chunk of hair that she lost. So sad, her hair was getting so long and pretty. I felt so bad. The whole night she just kept saying, "That was sooo scary Mom." She was worried her hair was going to be ugly with a big chunk gone. It was a good lesson for us all...Don't get too close to the drain, it will eat you up!
My good friend Shandie came to the rescue the next morning and made her hair look so cute. She had a mess to work with and she did such a good job.

After, feeling a little extra sassy.

It's been so fun to have Hallie home from school. She is such a good helper with Mckay.

Putting him to sleep

Mckay loves our porch swing (we all do)

I was in the kitchen one day and heard all three kids laughing so hard.I came to check out what was so funny.

Apparently it's really runny to have a pillow thrown at your face.

Cutest Red Sox fan ever!

4th of July

We went up the mountain to Yankee Meadow and cooked some yummy Dutch Oven for dinner. The kids loved running a muck outside in the dirt. It was so pretty up there.
Grandpa giving the kids the "Don't jump in the creek" talk.

This swing was a hit.
