Random pictures

Sadie wanted to take some pictures one morning. She took some of me and Mckay and I took some of her and Mckay.

The classic "Sadie hold". The poor kids gets the "Sadie hold"  many times each day.
It gets pretty bad when she lifts him off the ground. He weighs just about as much as she does!

Sadie, the little chipmunk

I love peeking in on the kids when they are sleeping. They look so sweet and peaceful, even after a day that has been everything but sweet and peaceful. Just look at that sweet little face. :)

I'm mobile!

This little guy is a boy on the move! He has totally perfected the army crawl and really gets movin'! It's pretty funny. I was trying to get some good pics of him crawling and he just kept chasing me, he wanted to get his hands on the camera. He finally succeeded.

He's also pulling up on everything. His favorite thing to pull up on is me. He grabs skin, pants, whatever he can get a hold of while I'm standing and pulls himself up.

9 months old

Once again, I can't believe that this little man is so big. He is getting so fun though.
He's got quite the little personality and keeps us laughing.
-He has perfected the army crawl
-started pulling himself up on things
-is such a boy; he loves anything that moves and makes loud noises, especially the lawn mower and vacuum. He loves balls and cars and anythings with wheels. So different from having girls.
-still nursing 4-5 times a day
-loves all food that he is given!
-still not sleeping through the night, I'm sort of use to being a sleep deprived, looney mother by now. I won't know what to do with myself when I actually wake up refreshed after a good nights sleep.
-still no teeth
-started saying "Hi" and waving

9 month stats:
Weight: 20 lbs. 4 oz  43%
Height: 29 1/2 in.  85%
Head: 18 1/4 in. 78 %

New table

Jake and I built a new kitchen table together. It was kind of fun to have a project to work on together.

First Day of School

Well, summer flew by way too fast, as usual, and it was time to go back to school. I can honestly say that I have loved having the kids home. Yes they have driven me crazy at times, but I love having them around me and playing with them and watching them play. Sadie has really missed Hallie since she went back, I'm glad that she gets to go to preschool three times a week. It will be good for her to have something to look forward to.  Hallie loves school and it's good for her to have some structure again.  She needs it. We tend to get very lax about a routine in the summer. Her second grade teacher is Mrs. Searle, the same teacher I had for kindergarten way back when. Hallie kept asking me about her and I honestly can't remember anything about having her. That was forever ago!

Cook out with Grandma and Grandpa

Mckay licking the cheesecake beaters

Enjoying fish tacos and s'mores

Good stuff

I finally got a picture of Mckay opening his mouth when he eats. He opens just as wide as his little face will let him. It's pretty funny.
