Thankful...

 

I'm trying to figure out a new app I got on my phone, photogrid. I think I've got it figured out for the most part. Here's a sample. A few months ago I was set on "I don't need a fancy smancy phone". I still don't need it but I sure do love it and all the cool apps.

I'm excited for the next few days, to spend with family and consume lots of yummy food. I'm also very grateful for so many things in my life...
I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family,
to be married to my best friend,
to be a mother to three cute kids,
I love them all more than words and am so thankful for
the all that they have taught me and for all that
they add to my life.
For a loving Heavenly Father who knows me, who loves me
and is mindful me.
I'm thankful for his tender mercies in my life,
all things truly do testify that there is a God and for this I am thankful for.

After school snack

The kids come home so hungry after school.

We make this snack quite often at our house.

We all love them and they're full of good stuff and fill you up.

 

Energy  Bites

1 1/3 cup oats

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/3 cup agave or honey

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut

1/2 ground flaxseed

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients together.

 

 Press into 8 X 8 inch pan and cut into squares.

Store in the fridge.

Tell some kindergarten jokes 

 

 and have a laugh.

 

 You can also rolls them into balls just for fun.



He's coming home...

The boy is coming home, after two years he's coming! I'm so excited. The girls are

so excited. They've been counting down the days.

 Mckay will get to meet him for the first time.

Tonight at 10:30 he will be here. :)

Garden

We had a good garden this year, the best yet.

We cleaned it up and tilled the ground for next year.

It made me a little sad, I love going out and picking

 fresh veggies and then turning them into something yummy

for dinner.

 



 

I put up quite a few tomatoes and tomatillo salsa.

Jake's Bday

It was Jake's birthday last week. We had a little party.

A swiss fondue with family and some

"better than" cake.

My dad makes a mean fondue.

 



Trick or treat

Clark Kent/Superman, had to bribe him with a sucker so

I could get a picture with the glasses.

The gypsy, I wore the same costume when I was 8

Sock buns are cool, I was surprised at how easy they were to do.

Super girl ready to save the world, superman, gypsy and their Ninja father.
