Dear Mckay,

Just look at that smile. You really have such a contagious smile and I can't help smile when I see you smiling. I can't believe you are five years old buddy! You have grown up so much these last couple years. It was a rough go there for a bit, but you are such a fun little guy and are constantly making me laugh with all the things you say. You are always up for a good time, especially when it's with Daddy. You love him so much and it's so sweet to see the bond that you two have. I thank Heavenly Father every day for Daddy and the good Dad that he is. You are so lucky to have him in your life.  I'm so thankful for you in my life and feel so blessed to be your Mom. You have taught me so much about life and how to love and truly live life to the fullest. You have such a love for life.  You love to be outside, riding your bike, playing with Talli, jumping, riding your scooter.  You also love playing the Wii and Mountain bike game on the play station. You are super competitive and love to win.
We are working on good sportsmanship, and I love it when after you beat me on the Wii or play station how you shake my hand and tell me, "Good game, Mom. Just keep practicing Mom." You love preschool and your teacher, Mrs. Clark. You can now write your full name and most of your alphabet.
You love Corn dogs, turkey sandwiches, bananas, apples, chocolate, milk, and cinnamon rolls. You constantly ask me if we can have them for dinner.
You give the best hugs and kisses. I love it when you wrap your little arms around my neck and give me a big juicy smooch on the lips. I know that the day will come when you won't do this so I will savor those juicy, wet kisses. You are strong, you are tough, but you also have a tender little heart and love those around you. I hope that you will always be those things. Strong, tough, and tender too.
You love to sing and I love hearing you belt out, "Follow the prophet", and "Scripture Power" from three rows up in primary.
You are a special little boy Mckay and I love you so much. I hope you will always know how much I love you and how much your Heavenly Father loves you too. He has a plan for you. He wants you to be happy and so do I. You will do great things in your life if you stay close to him. He will guide you. I love you my sweet boy.
Love,
Mom

"Mom, let's make orange juice today!"
"Ok, sure why not."
I busted out the juicer, dusted it off and we began. We still had oranges from Christmas, it really was a good use for them.

He was determined to fill the whole juicer so he kept going one right after the other until it was full. "Daddy's going to love it." he said over and over. Oh how this boy loves his Daddy. It melts me to see how much he loves and adores him.  We poured ourselves a taste. It really was delicious and so fresh and I wondered why we hadn't done this sooner.
McKay on the other hand wasn't impressed, too chunky he said. I guess we need a strainer.
