Easter sure came fast this year. It was a great weekend spent with family and loved ones. Friday we traveled to Stockton for Grandpa Reynolds viewing and funeral. He had been struggling the last little while and finally was released from the pains and trials of this life. The funeral was very nice and it was great to be together as family. The kids were able to play with cousins and hunt for eggs. We came home Saturday night and spent some time with Jake's cousin Farron and his sweet family. The kids had so much fun playing and having a sleepover!
Easter Sunday was a beautiful day and I feel so thankful for my Savior and all that he has done for me. That he was willing to suffer and die for my sins. That through him we may live again. That he overcame death and was resurrected on the third day. That we might live forever with those we love.
On a side note, Sunday during primary as I was sitting with my little sunbeam class Mckay came over and curled up on my lap and I listened to him sing with all his little heart; Follow the prophet, Scripture Power. It hit me how fast this life goes. Time goes so fast. As I struggled to hold this big boy in my lap I couldn't believe how I'd gotten here. Married to a wonderful man, 4 beautiful kids. They are growing up so fast! Oh how I love each of them so much. Family truly is everything.
I'm so thankful for my beautiful life. It's not perfect, it's not suppose to be, but it's so so good.
